With ASi-5 you can now also control DGM and DGM-R frequency inverters from the manufacturer Bonfiglioli – and take advantage from greatly reduced costs and easy commissioning.
Efficient parameterization of motors with full control during operation
The new ASi-5 motor module for Bonfiglioli DGM/DGM-R (BWU4388) makes it possible to change process control ramps and speed cyclically, thereby enabling extremely quick adjustment. An optimized process data image is provided for this purpose. Thanks to ASi-5, the motor feedback is also very comprehensive. This is because in addition to the error flags, even the current consumption of the motor and addtional information are available for evaluation in the cyclic input data. The additional four digital inputs and two digital outputs enable cost-effective connection of further sensors and actuators to the module.

Reduce wiring complexity, avoid parameterization errors
The ASi-5 motor module for Bonfiglioli DGM/DGM-R (BWU4388) will of course allow you to benefit from the well-known ASi advantages, such as drastically reduced wiring complexity. It is also advantageous to use our Bihl+Wiedemann Software Suite: Once you have configured an ASi-5 motor module and stored the drive parameters, you can simply copy this information to numerous other ASi-5 motor modules. During commissioning, all motor parameters are downloaded automatically. Parameterization also takes place automatically when motors and motor modules are replaced. This saves you a lot of time and at the same time also avoids possible parameterization errors.
